Putty Putman continued our Victorious Life sermon series this weekend and he did a great job encouraging us to live victoriously in every circumstance.
Main idea: As we adjust our perspective and live out our identity, we are empowered to live victoriously in ever circumstance.
Putty shared that God lives in us and the holy spirit comes to empower us. We no longer have to live with our outside circumstances dictating who we are. Jesus came so we can live from our internal identity as a child of God and express that outward. Putty shared "What's happening in us always comes out." If we are living in the peace of God peace with come out. If we are living in the love of God, love with come out. And on the negative side, if you we are living in fear and anxiety then these also will come out.

Monday morning commentary (on Tuesday :))
This week we started a new series called, "crescendo" This series is all about "turning up" our connection and pursuit of Jesus, and "taking it out" to effect our cities and the world. Happy started off our sermon series this Sunday and did a great job sharing the vision that God has given him for our church. It is exciting hearing the radical call that God has for our church for the next 10 years.
God is on the move in our church, but also in the lives of the people here.
