Quick Thought Thursday, June 16

I've read through Philippians 3 & 4 a few times this week, and each time I found myself wondering what the Philippians must have thought concerning Paul. For awhile, they were the only church supporting Paul in any kind of way. And it appears that they continued to do so for some time. As a church we support different missionaries, both local and global on a regular basis. But I'm wondering if you personally have ever done so? Have you ever given to someone in such a way as to change their lives? In verse 18 of chapter 4 Paul shares "I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God." Have you ever given to someone so much that they exclaimed that they were amply supplied? What joy that must bring! Be on the lookout this week for someone you can truly go overboard in blessing! Pray to the Holy Spirit, asking for an opportunity. Then, open your eyes and ears, and see what He orchestrates!
