As a church, we are digging deeper into what our mission statement really means and how we can live it out. Action Weekends will be held 4 times a year, each time offering a variety of important classes that will cover topics related to healing, training, leadership, your relationship with God and people, and more!

Register for Action Weekend by clicking here.Kingdom Healing 1: Spirit Led Prayer (formerly Learning to Minister Like Jesus): Learn about the healing ministry of Jesus and how it applies in our daily lives as followers to help set people free. This course material has been updated, and we strongly recommend that even people who have completed Learning to Minster Like Jesus sign up to take this course. Activate (Small Group Leader Training): These sessions will prepare and equip current and upcoming small group leaders with the tools to lead, grow and multiply a group, as well as solve some of the issues you might face as a leader. Contact: Julie Yoder at julie.yoder@thevineyardchurch.us.
VBI: Christology: This course focuses on Jesus Christ, the one we serve. The most important foundation of initiation into the Christian life is the ministry and work of Jesus. Without this foundation, we impart nothing of substance to new Christians. Contact: Marji Larson at marji.larson@thevineyardchurch.us.
Dating and Sex: Christians date? This Friday night only workshop will focus on the details of what it looks like to date as Christians using biblical concepts and personal stories. How to start a relationship, communication as a dating couple, physical boundaries in dating and ending a relationship well will all be covered. This is for high school students and young adults. Spritual Rhythms: Spiritual disciplines open us to God's transforming love and the changes that only God can bring about in our lives. This course will focus on six spritual disciplines, including desire, solitude and silence, encountering God in scripture, honoring the body, bringing my whole self to God and cultivating your own sacred rhythms. Childcare
Childcare is available throughout Action Weekend. Fees for childcare are approximately $2 per hour per child, and will be due upon drop off. There are discounts for families with multiple children. 2 children, for Friday night OR Saturday morning is $12; 2 children for both Friday and Saturday is $20
3 children or more, for Friday night OR Saturday morning is $15; 3 children for both Friday and Saturday is $20
