The outreach fair will be held on November 6-7, during all weekend services, and will showcase all the outreach projects available during the holiday season.
Adopt-a-Family
As a family, or with your small group, adopt a family from our church to bless this Christmas season. First, choose a family and review their clothing needs and “wish list”. Then, shop for a combination of clothing and gifts for the family. You will have the opportunity to meet your family in person at our “Adopt a Family” party on December 13, or return gifts to the church by December 4/5 for us to deliver to the family
Adopt-a-Family Holiday Boutique Party
Monday, December 13, 6pm
Volunteers are needed to donate wrapping supplies, provide appetizers, bake cookies for the cookie exchange, donate to the boutique, help with “adopt a family”, assist with children and donate money for this large outreach event. Christmas Dinner for all Nations
Friday, December 17, 6:30pm
Come help us serve our guests from many different nations, where we will celebrate Christmas together while enjoying a potluck meal. You are also invited to join us for the meal and bring a dish to share with our international friends
RUM Angel Tree
Choose a family from the Angel Tree and purchase a practical gift for them (such as a crock pot, microwave, toaster, etc). You will have the chance to deliver the gift to the family on Monday, December 20 at 6pm or bring it to the church for us to deliver
Hat/ Mitten Tree
Bring in a new hat or pair of gloves to the church and pin it on the hat/mitten tree to be distributed to families in need
Food Outreach
Thanksgiving/ Christmas in a Box assembly days
Friday, November 19, 9am and Friday, December 17, 9am
Come to the Vineyard Church to assemble boxes of food for families in need to have a Thanksgiving/ Christmas dinner
Thanksgiving/ Christmas in a Box distribution at RUM
Monday, November 22, 6pm and Monday, December 20, 6pm
Bring your family and join us in passing out boxes of food to the families at Restoration Urban Ministries (RUM)
