Dear Vineyard Men,
Do you need to get refreshed and renewed as you head into 2011? I'd like to invite you to come to our Men's Encounter God Retreat, Friday and Saturday, December 10-11 at Camp Warren near Decatur.

It will be a time of worship teaching and ministry geared to help you remove obstacles and experience God in a deep and growing way.

I first attended an Encounter-type retreat 23 years ago. For me it was refreshing and enjoyable but it didn't seem particularly life-changing or emotional at the time. But in the weeks that followed I realized that my life had been changed profoundly as I noticed that I had a new, surprising level of peace, freedom and clarity. It became apparent that it was a wonderful turning point in my personal and spiritual journey. Subsequent Encounter Retreats have helped me continue to learn and grow. That's why I am excited that we can offer this event.

The weekend will start Friday at 7pm and end Saturday at 4:30pm. The cost of $59 includes your overnight accomodations, your bedding, material and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. We'll be taking a van or two from the Vineyard on Friday evening or you can get directions from the website when you register. We need people to pre-register so that we can get the needed food and materials.
